Field Service Technician (TAS)

Join our service team based in Brighton, Tasmania

We are looking for a field service technician based out of our Brighton branch.

Work for an expanding company in heavy equipment supplying the construction, forestry and extractive industries. Employing over 90 staff, Onetrak has a support network of sales, parts and service outlets in 6 states across Australia.

The successful applicant will be offered an attractive salary, relocation assistance, company uniform, and excellent working conditions. Specialist technical and product training will be made available on all product lines.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service. They will be required to perform repairs and maintenance on a range of machinery to meet customer demands. This includes general maintenance, fault finding as well as hydraulic repairs and rebuilds.

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Mechanical Trade Certification (Heavy Vehicle).
  • Post trade experience, including hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
  • Mobile plant experience (civil/mining/forestry) is preferred.
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements.
  • Dedicated to safety and quality assurance.

A competitive hourly rate is on offer ($30 - $39 per hour + penalties), negotiable with experience and paid overtime is available should you wish to increase your take home pay.
