If you are bored from the repetitiveness of your current role, or want to do more demanding repairs and diagnostics, whilst still having training and support at your fingertips - this is the role for you!
Working across four main industries - construction, forestry, material handling and quarry & mining, you will perform repairs and maintenance on a range of machinery including fault finding, hydraulic repairs and rebuilds. The industry focus in Tumut is forestry but will vary slightly from site to site. The role will include working on (but not be limited to) excavators, wheel loaders, feller bunchers, skidders, forwarders, mobile crushers, dozers.

You will be a trade qualified, heavy vehicle mechanic with post-trade experience in mobile plant, including hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
Ideally, you will have come from a construction/mining/forestry background, with experience working on this type of machinery, however candidates from a light vehicle, automotive background will also be considered, providing they have 3 plus years experience in earthmoving, forestry or mobile equipment.
Mechanics who are new to these industries will also be considered for workshop positions, where you can gain the hands-on training required to progress into a field service role.
Relocating from New Zealand to join Onetrak? Onetrak will assist with costs of relocation and provide temporary accommodation whilst you get settled into your new role.
A competitive hourly rate is on offer, negotiable with experience and paid overtime is available should you wish to increase your take home pay.
Onetrak provides excellent training including the chance to travel internationally for product training! And the training doesn't end there! You can also complete a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management in a recognised training organisation, whilst you work.
