Onetrak is looking for awesome qualified diesel mechanic/fitters who are based in Bunbury, Western Australia

If you enjoy working independently, are bored from the repetitiveness of your current role, or want to do more demanding repairs and diagnostics, whilst still having training and support at your fingertips - this is the role for you!

Working across four main industries - construction, forestry, material handling and quarry & mining, you will perform repairs and maintenance on a range of machinery including fault finding, hydraulic repairs and rebuilds. The industry focus in Bunbury will be forestry but will include working on machines servicing other industries including (but not be limited to)  feller bunchers, skidders, forwarders, mobile crushers, dozers, excavators and wheel loaders.

About You

You will be a trade qualified, ideally with post-trade experience in mobile plant, including hydraulic and electrical knowledge. You will enjoy the mix of workshop and the independence of working in the field, knowing that further technical support is a phone call away.

Ideally, you will have come from a quarrying, construction, mining or forestry background, with experience working on this type of machinery. However, candidates from a light vehicle, automotive background will also be considered, providing they have 3 plus years experience in earthmoving, forestry or mobile equipment.

A competitive hourly rate is on offer, negotiable with experience and paid overtime is available should you wish to increase your take home pay.
