November 18, 2019
The new state-of-the-art build with paint room, wash bay and crane was finished in June this year and provides a larger workshop increasing the capacity of the service team significantly.

Onetrak’s southern Tasmanian branch is now located on 80 Possum Road in Bridgewater adjacent to the Midland Highway connecting Hobart to Launceston.

The new state-of-the-art build with paint room, wash bay and crane was finished in June this year and provides a larger workshop increasing the capacity of the service team significantly.

The new and bigger premises also allow for more machine stock and a larger parts warehouse with increased parts inventory.

An official opening event was held on October 18th and was celebrated by suppliers, customers, industry representatives and local businesses together with the Onetrak team. Coincidentally the 500th Tigercat machine was delivered to Kevin Morgan Group in Tasmania recently. Kevin Morgan was the first customer to purchase a Tigercat in Australia and now also took delivery of the 500th machine. Tigercat’s Founder and CEO Ken MacDonald made the big trip over from Canada to attend the opening event and personally congratulate Kevin Morgan on the 500th machine milestone together with Paul Iarocci from Tigercat’s Marketing and Dealer Development team.

Striker Directors Craig and Nicole Pedley also attended the event.

The new location offers a site for demonstrating the machines which provided customers the opportunity to get in the driver’s seat of some of the machines during the opening day.

“Onetrak started in Brighton and our first branch and southern Tasmanian location has remained in the same premises since it all began in 2006. Today Onetrak is the national distributor for Tigercat, Striker, Hidromek, Fuchs and Dressta along with Hyundai in Tasmania. The move to a bigger site has been in the pipeline for some time and it is fantastic to see the project finalised”, said David Hazell, Onetrak’s Founder and Managing Director.

“We are celebrating a couple of milestones today – the build of our new branch and also the great milestone that is 500 Tigercat machines sold in Australia. It is fantastic to see the support for this brand and the CEO of Tigercat making the trip here to acknowledge this confirms Tigercat’s remarkable support to not only its dealers but also customers locally here in Australia”.

“The new workshop positions us to elevate our support to existing and future customers and provide better sales and aftersales support. We have also invested in a low hour rental fleet in Tasmania, making Onetrak Rental now available in Tasmania, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia. Our team is ready to assist with any sales, aftersales and rental enquiries – I welcome you all to come in and see our team at the new location”.
