Hyundai Dealership of the Year 2008

TASMANIAN CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT DEALER - ONETRAK PTY LTD AWARDED NATIONAL TITLE

Tasmania’s Hyundai Construction Equipment Dealer Onetrak Pty Ltd has recently been awarded the prestigious title of Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia Dealership of the year for its Tasmanian Branch.

Onetrak Managing Director Mr David Hazell said “All of us at Onetrak were very excited to have been awarded this honorary title of Hyundai Australian Dealership of the Year.  The award recognises our efforts in the key areas of Sales and Service and although we are a relatively young business we have strived to be the high achievers in these areas. For that to have been formally recognised by Hyundai I believe is a testimony to our experienced and dedicated team of professionals encompassing the sales team right though to the after sales efforts deployed by the guys in parts and service.

In a relatively small market like Tasmania we have to be diverse to achieve a high level of market share. Our team have delivered machines from highly modified forestry processing units, civil contracting, agriculture, extractive industries, materials handling and even underground mining.

Unlike allot of long established dealerships, our relatively new Onetrak team comes from a diverse background and allot of our people have worked in businesses where they were the end user of the very types of equipment we now sell and service. That is why in my opinion we can differentiate ourselves from our competitors, because we have a better understanding of what the customer wants.

Our business philosophy is not a complicated one here at Onetrak, we work hard, do what we say we will do and adopt a ‘can do’ attitude towards business that in our customer’s opinion is refreshing.

As Onetrak have now expanded our services into Victoria we will strive hard to achieve this award here as well. I am excited about the prospects Victoria combined with Tasmania presents and with the new team of key people we have recruited in Victoria over the last 12 months I know we will succeed and deliver the levels of service our customers and the Hyundai product deserve.”

Robex - 9 Series Excavators

With its leading edge technology, improved operator environment, increased specifications and lower fuel consumption, the new Hyundai Robex-9 excavator/loaders now have more appeal to forestry contractors

  • Tier III emission compliant engines
  • Equipped with a more advanced hydraulic system
  • Hi-mate, Hyundai’s remote satellite communication system, is installed
  • The revised cab provides more creature comforts and some functional improvements
  • Cell phones can be plugged into the cab stereo system for hands free use

The Robex-9 series of Hyundai excavators arrived in New Zealand in early 2009.

With Tier III emission compliant engines in all Hyundai Robex-9 models, the new machine is expected to deliver superior fuel consumption over the dash-7 models, along with improved durability in the hydraulics and track gear.

Forestry-size machines are all powered by Cummins engines, with the R210LC-9, R250LC-9 and R290LC-9 gaining the Cummins QSB6.7 engine. The R320LC-9 and R380LC-9 take the 8.3-litre power plant, while the 50-tonne R500LC-9 will arrive later in the year with the latest Cummins 11-litre unit (this machine is suitable for heavy-duty road lining work).

The Robex-9 models are equipped with a more advanced hydraulic system providing the high cycle speed of the dash-7 machines and precision control. The new hydraulic system contributes to the lower fuel consumption, with flow rates able to be adjusted by the operator via the cluster display. Both pump flows can be combined for maximum flow without the addition of any optional valves. The Joystick 4 pattern change valve is a standard feature.

Extended service intervals through the use of higher spec oils and filtration systems further aid in lowering service and maintenance costs. Intervals between servicing have been extended, which not only helps add to the customer’s bottom line but also makes the new Hyundai equipment more environmentally friendly.

All new Robex-9 models are equipped with Hi-mate, Hyundai’s remote satellite communication system which will enable the owner/fleet manager to have remote access to all machine operating information. The system utilises GPS technology to allow the machine’s performance and diagnostic information to be remotely downloaded. The first two years subscription to the local service provider will be included in the machine purchase price.

The new cab in the Robex-9 has a larger interior coupled with a larger glass surface for better visibility. The new large 7-inch LCD display has a wider range of functions and better ergonomics. The cab structure has been strengthened and complies with the same ISO safety standards as other major competitors.

One feature operators will find very useful, is that cell phones can be plugged into the cab stereo system for hands free use and a USB charging facility is available.
